It is time again for another checkout in Copenhagen
Join us as Michael Malling is up for his S2 checkout, in an attempt to become the latest controller in our ranks.
The expectations are high, and therefore lots of trafic is required.
So dust off, your Boeing, Airbus or Maddog, or whatever you fancy, and fly in and out of Copenhagen for this night of fun! 
CTR and APP will be staffed as well from 19z and all the way to 21z where the check will end. GND will be blocked for extra difficulty

Landvetter Tower (ESGG) check with Daniel Korzhavy coming up Tuesday 12th of November 18.00z - 20.00z.
Most welcome and fly Göteborg - Landvetter to give Daniel some interesting traffic in his airspace and at Landvetter airport
while showing his skills as aspiring Tower Controller (S2). Max Larsson Kuhla will be examiner.

Both IFR and VFR traffic is of course warmly invited. There are no virtual extra landing fees,
but rather lots of free virtual beverages, snacks and dinner buffé at Landvetter airport after landning and
of course a very happy controller having had the pleasure keeping you safe in the air.

The coming Thursday evenings, Sweden controllers will open up regional airports in addition to Stockholm-Arlanda that we normally see open on a regular basis. 
This is a great opportunity to visit other interesting places in Sweden and also experience full controller coverage from departure to arrival. On each Thursday two regional airports will be featured which is located fairly close to each other. This make it possible for you to fly local VFR flights and practice your night time navigation skills in your Piper 28.
If it isn't VMC or you simply don't fancy the low and slow typer of flying, feel free to take your favorite airliner out of Arlanda or Bromma and fly into the featured airport.
On 14 November between 17-21z the featured airports are Visby (ESSV) and Skavsta (ESKN).
The Swedish controllers hope that you will join in and fly into the less visited regional airports to experience something different.

Tower Check, S2 CPT,  at Göteborg Landvetter (ESGG) coming up Thursday 14th of November 18.00z - 20.00z.

Welcome and join and fly to help Edward Yousef show his skills as Tower Controller.
Martin Tornberg will be Examiner.

Both IFR and VFR traffic is of course most welcome to make it a little bit more interesting.
Warmly welcome and fly in the busy airspace around Landvetter och Göteborg.

On 15 November between 18-21z we need your help in Swedish airspace to make Max earn his C3 rating. Take your favorite aircraft and it doesn't matter if it's IFR or VFR. The more mix of traffic in and out of different airports make it all much better. 
To make it a more enjoyable evening for everyone, please remember to have your charts which is available for free from the Swedish AIP. We hope that you will help us during this C3 CPT in Swedish airspace on 15 November.

Have you created a VATSIM account but haven't yet had the courage to logon and do your first flight? This event on Sunday 17th November from 17-21z is an excellent occasion for you to try out the fun and immersive VATSIM environment where most of your fellow pilots is in the same situation as yourself.
You will have the chance to fly from the following airports which will be fully staffed; Helsinki-Vantaa (EFHK), Oslo-Gardermoen (ENGM) and Stockholm-Arlanda (ESSA). The friendly controllers of VATSIM-Scandinavia will help you succeed with your flight on that day.
To make it more enjoyable for everyone, we hope that you will remember to bring your charts which is available for free from the respective AIPs found below. There are also good pilot briefing pages for the airports featured on our website. There is also a PDF document with phraseology examples that gives you some idea on how it will sound on the frequency on the event. 
There is also a list of suggested routes for the airport pairs that we recommend you to fly if possible.
We hope that you will show up on Sunday 17th November and fly between Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm.
