Today, I have received and accepted the resignation of @Max Kuhla (1157125) . Max wants to seek new challenges after many years in the event department. I want to extend my thanks to Max for his hard work and dedication to the Event department.
Max will stay in the position until a replacement is found.
We are now looking for a Event Manager
Duties are:
• Manages and evenly distributes events between countries in the vACC and reports directly to the vACC Director
• Works together with event assistants to establish intercountry events as well as events between countries within the vACC.
• In collaboration with event assistants ensure staffing for events.
• Monitors appropriate use of advertising and banner production.
• Appoints event managers in collaboration with vACC Director
Minimum requirements:
VATSIM Permanent Controller rating S2
Member of VATSIM Scandinavia for at least one month.
You are expected to be able to commit 1-2 years to this role.
