Yesterday I received, and accepted the resignation of Marcus Lundelin. Marcus has been part of the event department for a long time, and he will be missed!
We are now looking for a new Event Assistant for Sweden.
As Event Assistant, you will be tasked with the following:
Coordinates events within your own FIR, and or with external vACCs/FIRs when necessary.
Manages the events calendar and coordinates event planning within the vACC to ensure alignment with the vACC event strategy.
Ensures effective promotion of events throughout the VATSIM Network and its associated platforms.
We are looking for candidates which:
Have been a member of VATSIM Scandinavia for at least one month and holding an S2 rating or higher in VATSIM.
Have a basic skill for using software to create visual content (Photoshop/Illustrator/Free options).
Are active participants in the community of the relevant FIR, creative and interested in finding new ways to engage with the local community through events.
Have a few hours every week to spend on the above mentioned duties.
