The election result has arrived, and I have together with @Thor Høgås (1512667) verified that all the members who casted a vote also held voting rights. I want to congratulate Simon Bjerre on his appointment as the new vACC Director of VATSIM Scandinavia.

Blank - 38 votes (20.43%)
Total - 186 votes
In total 53.6% of the members who held voting rights casted a vote during this election and we have set a new a record number of votes during an election. It is good to see the enthusiasm and trust amongst our members in an important election such as this one.
I have as of today notified both Simon Bjerre and our previous director Daniel Dahl Andersen about the result and informed them that they may start the transition phase. Once their transition is completed, @Simon Bjerre (1581824) will make an announcement here on the forums and I will step down as the acting vACC director. He will also announce his plan around the current Tech Manager staff role.
I want to thank everyone who has been a part of this phase, especially @Daniel Dahl Andersen (1384322) for this dedicated work as the previous vACC Director and wish all the best to the new vACC director. Looking forward to working with you.
