Deputy FIR Director
First of all, the constitution now allows the FIR Director team to expand. This is a necessity as the workload has become impossible for one person to bear. Therefore, Jesper Hvenegaard has stepped down from his position as Training team member to join me as the Deputy FIR Director of Denmark. We will serve as one “office”, and you can direct any inquiry or question to either of us.
Training
Furthermore, after 2 years at the helm, Thomas Brøgger will be stepping down as Training Lead in Denmark to focus more on controlling. I would like to extent my gratitude for his incredible effort in getting the training situation to the standard and involvement it is today in Denmark.
Replacing Thomas is not an easy task, which is why we have approached Jeppe Seier to ask if he would consider exchanging the Training Director job, to be an integrated part of Copenhagen FIR instead. A proposition I am delighted to say, Jeppe has agreed to and will de-factor be our new Training Lead in Denmark.
For the positions of “Training Team Members”, we would like to welcome Oliver Rasmussen and Sonnich Jensen, who will in addition to collaborating in training, will also be collaborating as combined “Event Team Members” of Denmark.
Navdata Team
With the new constitution, we have now the opportunity to extend several new teams, the most significant being the NavData Team, which will be dealing in everything that has to do with sector files and software. Splendor Bouman has stepped up as “Nav Data Team Lead”, and Bartek Zawadzki and Brian Hansen joining him as “Nav Data Team Members” in charge of TOPSKY and GRPlugin respectively.
