Dear members of VATSIM-Scandinavia.
On behalf of the board of VATSIM-Scandinavia, I would like to update you on an ongoing situation that has developed within the organization.
Yesterday we received notice from VATEUD, that Simon Bjerre has been relieved from his duty as VACC Director of VATSIM-Scandinavia.
Following internal dialogue within the board, a unanimous decision has been taken to appoint me as the Interim VACC Director to facilitate the interests and continuity of VATSIM-Scandinavia, until a time when a long-term director can be appointed.
While we understand that this may be a time with many questions and concerns from our members, we ask you for your patience, as we approach VATEUD for negotiations. The board is actively working to find a mutually acceptable solution for both parties while protecting the interest of the members of our VACC.
