@Max Kuhla (1157125) I'm not sure if there's any way to fool EuroScope into thinking that an aircraft has a mode S transponder if it hasn't filed so. This would be required for the plugin's mode S setting to have any effect, as it only removes the plugin's own check against the filed equipment codes. Perhaps it can be done by disabling the radar coverage simulation in EuroScope settings, but maybe not even that way. The FLTID and EHS settings behave in the same way, they remove the plugin's own check but still require a mode S radar return as reported by EuroScope.
The planned setting to override the radar return type should help, but as it needs to be changed everywhere the code checks for the information, some inconsistent behavior may be introduced if I don't spot all the places where the code needs to be changed.
@Nicolas Borovich (1036101) It can be anything or everything really. You can also check that all the latest Windows updates have been installed as well, but unless more people report similar issues to help form a pattern of what's required to trigger it, or a crash dump becomes available, I unfortunately can't offer more advice.
