Sector file developers who have chosen to enlist their users as beta testers must provide the necessary information to them as well. This includes instructions on how to update the plugin (overwriting the old plugin dll with the new one is always a necessary step, but where to find it and what to do with the other files depends on how you've set up the package).
Beta updates may happen at any time and for any reason. Mandatory updates have to be done before the deadline passes to continue using the plugin. Usually there will be plenty of time to get the update done but in the very worst case an update with an immediate mandatory update may be required. This would pretty much only happen if a problem in the plugin has been found which severely affects other network users or the network itself, so hopefully never, but it's still a possibility.
The update instructions shouldn't be complicated in any situation, but only someone who knows the sector file package setup in question will be able to write them. For auto-update solutions like GNG, you already have to provide some instructions for plugin updates as they cannot be updated by the auto-updater. For a plugin update, the instructions won't be much more complicated.
@Peter Zimen (1164635) You can upload it to OneDrive, Google Drive or some other file hosting solution where I am able to download it from
